who we are_

Star Radio Official is an independent online radio station bringing together the latest international hits from around the world.

Since 23 March 2003, we have selected the strongest new releases across pop, dance, R&B, rap, rock, Latino and international music, without limiting ourselves to one country, language or market. From the UK, United States, Canada and Australia to Europe, the Middle East and Asia, our playlist reflects the sound of today.

Our music is chosen independently by the Star Radio team. We are not paid to add songs to the playlist: every track is selected for its quality, relevance and potential to connect with our listeners.

Our broadcast is updated every week with new singles and focuses on current music, generally releases from the past 12 months. We stream around the clock in high-quality audio for listeners everywhere.

Star Radio was created by former FM radio DJ Brian, with DJ Alan as Broadcast Director. Our DJs are friends and colleagues who share the same goal: discover great new music, enjoy radio and share it with listeners worldwide.

Star Radio is a non-profit project, created for the love of music.

Are you an artist, manager, label or PR representative? Submit your latest release for possible airplay and promotion on Star Radio Official.

Send your latest single, or up to three recent singles, through our music submission form. Please include a downloadable, broadcast-ready MP3/ WAV or a direct download link.
Our team reviews each submission independently. If a track is selected, we will contact you—normally within 1 to 5 working days.
If selected, we may request:

A short artist or group biography in English, maximum 150 words
A high-quality press photo or official artwork
Social-media and streaming links
An optional station ID/jingle: “Hi, this is [artist name], and you’re listening to my/our latest single on Star Radio.”

4. Selected artists may receive website exposure and regular airplay. New artists are generally scheduled for a minimum four-week rotation, depending on the release and programming needs.

5. We appreciate artists sharing their Star Radio feature with their audience through their website and social channels.

Submitting music does not guarantee airplay, chart inclusion or editorial coverage. Star Radio remains an independent, non-profit station and all programming decisions are made by our team.
